It took patience to get the original concentration of this gewurztraminer! This grape was picked in winter conditions on 5 December 2016. That day, a thick fog enveloped the vineyard and with the negative temperatures (- 2°C), a thin layer of frost covered the grapes! With its subtle notes of rose and litchi, this rich and full-bodied gewurztraminer is already appreciated as an aperitif, dessert or as a side dish for foie gras.

Harvested at the end of the season, this wine has all the characteristics of a harvest on the Murie from our best hillside, the Zotzenberg. It reveals itself in a great amplitude on the palate and we discover a powerful and ample mouth that persists on spicy and exotic nuances, witnesses of a beautiful overmaturation.
